Abortion Advocacy Organizations

The Virginia Coalition to Protect Women’s Health – The Virginia Coalition to Protect Women’s Health formed in 2011 as a response to the attack on women’s health and safety prompted by Senate Bill 924. The Virginia Coalition to Protect Women’s Health strives to protect and ensure access for all women in all regions of Virginia to safe abortion(s) and comprehensive reproductive health care services. The Coalition is committed to ensuring any regulations are based solely on medical and public health considerations. The Coalition is opposed to excessive, burdensome or unneeded regulations that undermine patient access to medical care for political or ideological purposes.

DC Doula for Choice Collective – The DC Doulas for Choice Collective is a DC-based, volunteer-led-and-run, pro-choice organization that seeks to provide doula care to people across the full spectrum of reproductive health, pregnancy, and choice.

Center for Reproductive Rights – 120 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005 | The Center for Reproductive Rights (formerly the Center for Reproductive Law and Policy) is a nonprofit legal advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and defending women’s reproductive rights worldwide and are representing Falls Church Healthcare Center in our challenge to end abortion restrictions in Virginia.

Feminist Majority Foundation– We are members and support FMS, having marched alongside them at the Women’s Marches since 2004.

Public Funding for Abortion, American Civil Liberties Union – The Hyde Amendment allows states to determine whether or not to allow Medicaid pay for abortion procedures. Only 17 states allow public funding for abortions, leaving a huge number of American women unable to pay for an abortion. The ACLU opposes the Hyde Amendment and its far reaching implications.

Southern Poverty Law Center – 400 Washington Ave, Montgomery, Al 36104. The Southern Poverty Law Center teaches tolerance, monitors violence and provides valuable advocacy services.

Sister Song We are proud supporters of SisterSong, a Southern based organization created to build an effective network of individuals and organizations to improve institutional policies and systems that impact the reproductive lives of marginalized communities.

National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, Inc.  – NFPRHA members provide comprehensive preventive health care services at more than 4,000 health centers to nearly 4 million women and men annually. Everyday our members help people act responsibly, stay healthy and plan for strong families.

Abortion Networking and Support

National Network of Abortion Funds  – A network of over 100 grassroots groups in more than 40 states that help women pay for abortion services.

Medical Students for Choice – The United States and Canada face a dangerous shortage of trained abortion providers. MS4C works to make sure students are trained in abortion procedures. Falls Church Healthcare Center is proud to be an extern training site.

Physicians for Reproductive Health – PRH is a national network of pro-choice physicians who are committed to providing and advocating for the best possible care for patients.

WACDTF (Washington Area Clinic Defense Task Force) P.O. ARCH A volunteer-based organization, steming from Northern Virginia abortion rights advocates and champions, ARCH was created to aid women who need financial help with family planning.
